Hi, I'm Kip!

For more than 35 years I’ve helped people navigate change—as an educator, researcher, coach, speaker, and lifelong student of human development.

What I’ve learned is surprisingly simple.

When life changes, people don’t need someone to tell them what to do.  They need someone who can help them make sense of what’s happening, cut through the noise, and move forward with confidence.

That’s the work I love most.

A few things about me:

  • I’ve spent more than 3 decades studying how adults learn, grow, and navigate change.
  • My Master’s and PhD explored adult learning, language, identity, and transformational development.
  • Before expanding my coaching practice, I spent decades teaching, mentoring, researching, and speaking.
  • I’m endlessly curious about people, language, and the stories we tell ourselves.

Why I do this work:

  • I don’t believe people are broken – I believe they need someone who can help them make sense of what they’re experiencing.
  • For my entire career, I’ve helped people think differently, see new possibilities, and move through life’s biggest changes with greater confidence and clarity.

When I'm not coaching...

You’ll usually find me outdoors—walking with my dogs, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the calming and restorative power of nature.

Creativity has always been an important part of my life. Whether I’m doing calligraphy, painting with watercolours, or restoring century homes, I’m reminded that meaningful work takes time—and that’s a wonderful thing. I love staying active through strength training, kayaking, and spending many happy hours on a tennis court.

I’m also a shameless fountain pen enthusiast, and if we ever meet for coffee, there’s a very good chance I’ll arrive with more pens than I actually need.

Above all, I’m endlessly curious about people. Understanding how people think, grow, and navigate change has shaped my entire career, and it’s one of the qualities I bring to every conversation with my clients.

Whenever you’re ready
I’d be honoured to help you

find  your footing

No pressure.  No obligation.
Just a conversation to see if I’m the right person to help you.
